Cosmopolitan‘s May cover girl Kaley Cuoco is opening up about walking down the aisle a second time.
“I honestly thought I wouldn’t get married again,” the 32-year-old actress says. “My ex ruined that word for me.”
Cuoco, who was previously married to former professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting for three years, now plans to wed the new man in her life, equestrian Karl Cook, son of billionaire Scott Cook.

Reflecting on her first marriage with Cosmopolitan, Cuoco says Sweeting changed after their wedding.
“I married someone the first time who completely changed. The person I ended up with was not the person I originally met. And that wasn’t my fault—that was his,” she explains.
I knew how much I had to give and how much I wanted to receive.”

But now Cuoco, who is TV’s second-highest-paid actress with her role on “The Big Bang Theory”, says going through the difficult divorce process and rebuilding after her split from Sweeting eventually led her to a good place.
“I knew I just had to be patient…I had to go through a lot of things, but it brought me to Karl,” she says.
