It’s been 16 years since the last “Austin Powers” movie, but Mike Myers donned his famous Dr. Evil costume once again to poke fun at Donald Trump in a hilarious “Tonight Show” skit on Wednesday.
Jimmy Fallon told the audience that he’d managed to secure an interview with the latest departing cabinet member from the White House, before the camera cut to Evil spinning round in his famous chair.
As Fallon gasped, “Dr. Evil?” Powers’ arch-nemesis replied, “No, it’s Adam Levine. Of course it’s Dr. Evil, numbnuts.”
As the talkshow host went on to quiz Evil on his role in the White House, he explained: “Well, I was more of an ideas guy, really. The wall, that was all me. But I wanted it to be a moat filled with spiky blowfish.
“I didn’t want the Mexicans to pay for it, I wanted Alec Baldwin to pay for it,” he added of Trump’s impersonator on “Saturday Night Live”.
The clip also saw Evil criticize “creepy AF” Don Jr., as well as taking a swipe at Mark Zuckerberg as he announced he’d be running for president alongside the Facebook founder.
He added, referencing the social media site’s recent data scandal: “I’ve found the perfect running mate, the only man who’s more hated right now than Donald Trump.”
Evil announced he’d be releasing a book titled “Fire and Fury and Also Evil: And More Fire and Also Magma Too”, as well.
Wednesday’s show also saw Myers open up about his new movie “Terminal”, with him admitting that his co-star Margot Robbie taught him how to day drink and shotgun beers.
