More big news for Ghostbusters fans!

The “Ghostbusters”; reboot has just got that much better thanks to a tweet and Sigourney Weaver!

Sigourney will be joining her original “Ghostbusters”; co-stars, Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray, as well as the all new all-female cast including Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy. No word yet on whether she will be reprising her role of Dana Barrett.

The exciting news was about to be leaked online and that’s why the movie’s director Paul Feig took to Twitter to be the first with the scoop!

Ernie Hudson was seen on the set of the upcoming “Ghostbusters” film. The actor, who originally commented on the idea of an all-female cast as a “bad idea”, will now be joining the lovely ladies in their revamping of the 1984 comedy. The 64-year-old actor rethought his opinion on the actresses – Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon – saying, “Four fiercely funny, foxy, females busting ghosts … phenomenal!”;

The highly anticipated Paul Feig project will hit theatres on July 22, 2016.
