The accolades just keep rolling in for mega-selling teen sensation Shawn Mendes.

Canada’s Walk of Fame has announced that the “Stitches”; superstar is the recipient of the 2015 Allan Slaight Honour. Earned in previous years by The Weeknd, Carly Rae Jepsen and Drake, the Allan Slaight Honour recognizes the achievements of young Canadians who have the ability to turn their talent into inspiration. Considering all the things that Mendes has accomplished before hitting voting age, we can see why he’d be a worthy recipient.

Mendes will be presented with the honour on November 7 at the Sony Centre in Toronto as part of Canada’s Walk of Fame Broadcast Show. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow at 1:00 PM (Toronto time) and the event will have its own broadcast on Global later this year.
