One Reddit user posed the question, “Is that her real personality or is it all an act?”

“A lot of people want to question everything, and it’s like… I hate when people do that,” Cardi responded. “But then it kinda makes me happy because it’s like so many people know me, and knew me, and everybody could always tell you that this is what I’ve been doing before fame.”

Cardi also opened up about her new fame in‘s feature interview, saying that it’s not nearly as easy as it looks.

“I feel like I’m not in control of my life,” the 25-year-old explained. “I would have to call so many people. I would have to call the label, my management, my publicist. It’s like a partnership. I’m the artist, but I don’t feel like I have a higher position than anybody that’s working for me.”

“If I don’t want to work tomorrow, I cannot just stop working, because then, how’s other people gonna feed their family?” she added. “It is a lot of pressure.”

But it’s not only fame that people have had questions about, and that’s the subject of butt injections.

“When I was 21, I did not have enough meat on body-if I was to get lipo, I wouldn’t have enough fat for my a**,” Cardi said, explaining that she found a woman with a basement operation in New York who could give her butt injections.

“They don’t numb your a** with anything,” she described. “It was the craziest pain ever. I felt like I was gonna pass out. I felt a little dizzy. And it leaks for, like, five days.”
