“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak-Biermann is standing up for herself.
The reality TV personality called out Marlon Wayans for an unflattering comment he made about her online. Wayans, 45, compared a photo of Zolciak to his character from “White Chicks”.
“No we are not in production on ‘White Chicks 2’,” he captioned a poorly timed photo of the “RHOA” star. “The f**k?!”
Zolciak shared her disappointment over Wayans’ attempt at comedy. “Was always a super big fan of yours and my kids loved you,” she wrote in a comment. “This hurts but I guess [it’s] all for laughs.”
Her husband stepped in, too. “You should hope and pray that one day a grown man never takes this kind of dig at the expense of your daughter,” he wrote. “Grow up dude.”
TMZ later caught up with Zolciak-Biermann and her husband, and she called his joke, “Disgusting,” adding, “I think it’s inappropriate that a grown-a** man in this #MeToo movement is knocking a woman. I think it’s gross.”
Wayans’ post has received mixed reviews, with some finding it humorous and others calling it tone-deaf, but talk show host Wendy Williams took issue with the reality star dragging the #MeToo movement into her annoyance.
“What does this have to do with the #MeToo movement, Kim?” she asked in a segment of the Tuesday edition of “The Wendy Williams Show”, reports TooFab. “You’re a housewife and he’s a comedian and there was a funny screen grab. What are you saying the #MeToo movement? What does that mean? You can’t say anything about women because of the #MeToo movement?”
Williams advised the “Don’t Be Tardy” star to “let it go,” adding that Wayans was just “stating the obvious.”
