Chance, a vocal and charitable supporter of Chicago schools, discussed the importance of making education accessible to all.

“I’ve seen a lot of different things being able to go to better schools,” he explained. “We had to do a lot for me to get into the school I got into. Trying to present those opportunities to other people who are from where I’m from is always important to me.”

He also expressed how he and G Herbo, who were shooting a music video for their “Everything (Remix)” track with Lil Uzi Vert at the time of the interview, are ideal representatives for young people looking to improve their situation.

“Having the kids see two people from where they’re from come together and make a hit [is important,]” he explained. Herbo also chimed in, “[What] Chance [has] done for the city motivates dudes from my world to want to be better, to want to bring that kind of change to their community, to their kids.”
