‘Roseanne’ Addresses Mark’s Death In Emotionally Heavy Episode, Michael Fishman & More Pay Tribute To Glenn Quinn

“Roseanne” keeps hitting fans right in the feels.

On Tuesday’s episode of the revived sitcom, Becky opened up to her sister Darlene about the passing of Mark.

Becky revealed she and Mark were trying for kids before he died and she had not been able to “find anyone as good” since. Darlene reminded her sister that moving on did not mean betraying the memory of her husband.

But before that heartfelt moment, Becky went to the doctor with Jackie only to find out she can’t carry a baby.

Mark was played by Glenn Quinn on the original series, but died of an accidental heroin overdose in 2002 at the age of 32.

The emotionally heavy episode got everybody talking on social media, with Michael Fishman, who plays D.J. Conner in the show, paying tribute to the late actor.

He posted:

Fishman had much more to say in a subsequent Twitter post, writing that recasting Quinn’s role was “never even an option.”

He continued: “We remember Glenn every day. He will always be with us, part of us, part of the #Roseanne show and family.”
