Bella Thorne revealed there’s a lot of money to be made in the world of social media as she spoke out about how much she earns in the short Vogue documentary “Inside the Life of Bella Thorne”.
The 20-year-old, who shot to fame on the Disney channel, explained in the clip: “For grid posting [on Instagram], it’s 65 grand a post.”
She then added, “For story posting, it’s anywhere from 10 to 20K, and for Snapchat, it’s the same as Insta-Story.”
“Instagram is 100 per cent a job to me. I started out at 18 with literally $200 in my bank account and I bought this house a year later, a year and a half. That’s all from social media.”
Thorne, who is said to have bought her first Los Angeles home in 2016 for more than $2 million, went on: “Facebook has around 10 million followers, but that’s one that if you wanted to do a deal where you’re like, ‘Hey give us less here and we’ll pay you more for this post and then also on Facebook,’ you know, I’m down to do something like that too.”
The actress has a whopping 17.3 million followers on Instagram, almost 10 million on Facebook and nearly 7 million on Twitter.
The mini documentary also saw Thorne open up about her image and the public’s perception of her.
She explained, “100% of everything I do is like, honestly, not that big of a deal. It’s hard to be yourself. I like to switch it up.”
Thorne, who suffers from cystic acne, added that whenever she leaves the house without make-up, people just assume “she must have been partying the night before, look at her skin, she’s wrecked.”
“Well that’s me, here I am. Like it or leave it,” she continued.
