Snoop Dogg is building quite the sports portfolio.

The “S-N-double O-P-D-O-double G” is hosting a new YouTube series published by the NHL. “Hockey 101” delves into the history of the sport, with the first episode revolving around the Stanley Cup.

“There’s only one way to hoist it – you’ve got to win it,” says the “Gin and Juice” rapper. “The champs don’t just get to photobomb the cup. They get their names with it. If the engraver is listening, it spells D-O-G-G, capital letters.”

Honouring eccentric Canadian hockey legend Don Cherry, Snoop christens himself “The Professor’s Professor, Dogg Cherry”.

And this is not the only hosting gig the West Coast hip-hop legend has landed over the past several years.

He hosts “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party” on VH1 and also provides commentary for the alternative “Snoopcast” broadcast of UFC’s “Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series”, a role he reprised in the recent “EA UFC 3” video game.

“Hockey 101” is expected to release new episodes every Thursday.
