A 12-year-old hockey fan is making Canada proud in a heartwarming video following the Humboldt Broncos tragedy.
The youngster from Ontario was spotted through his parent’s security camera paying a touching tribute to the victims of the horrific crash with #PutYourSticksOut.

The boy came home from school to notice the hockey stick laid out on his front porch. You can see him pick up the stick for a while, play with it and examine it before giving it a kiss and laying it back in its resting place.
#PutYourSticksOut took over Canada in the days following the Broncos’ crash, which called for hockey fans to set a hockey stick on their porch in solidarity with the 16 lives the crash claimed.

Thursday was another special day to honour the victims, #JerseysForHumboldt also took over social media.
