‘Schitt’s Creek’’s Annie Murphy Stars In Toronto Band’s Carly Rae Jepsen Spoof

Little Junior, a band from Toronto, is spoofing fellow Canadian Carly Rae Jepsen’s hit “I Really Like You” for a good cause.

Jepsen’s 2015 track starred Tom Hanks in the music video, but for their version, Little Junior nabbed “Schitt’s Creek” star Annie Murphy.

Sporting a rather creepy mask, Murphy acts as Hanks in an exact frame-by-frame recreation.

Every penny Little Junior makes with this video will be donated to Toronto’s Youth Line – a youth-led organization providing peer support to the city’s LGBTQ community.

Members of the band, July Talk and Hollerado, can be spotted as extras in the hilarious dupe.

“We had to figure out how ‘shot-for-shot’ we could really get it,” said director Max Parr. “We wouldn’t be able to find city streets in Toronto identical to the ones used in the original video, and we weren’t going to be able to get as many extras.”
