If you’re in Canada, you’re bound to get snared into some Drake talk. It’s just how things go in the Great White North and Man Booker Prize winner Salman Rushdie experienced that firsthand during a visit with the CBC.

Rushdie, who is currently promoting his new book Two Years Eight Months and Twenty-Eight Nights, was asked to read the lyrics of some Drake classics aloud. The author took CBC up on their request and read chunks of “6 PM in New York,”; “Forever,”; “Know Yourself,”; “What’s My Name”; and “6 God.”; Accompanying the reading is a dash of commentary from Rushdie on what he’s reciting.

If you’d like to experience what it’s like to see Salman Rushdie chat about “running through the 6 with my woes,”; the video below should meet all your needs.
