Miley Cyrus kicked off the 41st season of Saturday Night Live, marking her third time as host as well as performing as musical guest.

The show began with cast member Taran Killam debuting his Donald Trump impression, which we should expect to see a lot of this season as the former Celebrity Apprentice host continues to top the polls in the Republican primaries.

In the sketch, Trump was assisted by wife Melania (Cecily Strong) to clarify some of his more controversial opinions. “Clearly I don’t hate immigrants,”; said Trump, gesturing to his Slovenian-born wife.

The opening monologue found Miley recapping all the wacky stuff that’s happened while the show’s been on hiatus, ranging from NYC’s infamous “Pizza rat”; to the Pope’s U.S. visit to the dentist who killed Cecil the Lion to Kentucky clerk Kim Davis, whose refusal to issue marriage licenses to gay couples has made her a political lightning rod. In her monologue, Miley joked about her bad-girl rep, quipping: “At least my parents know where I am for at least 90 minutes.”;

Miley also go emotional during a performance of “Karen Don’t Be Sad,”; backed by The Flaming Lips. Wearing a bizarre barely-there outfit made from a ginormous wig, at one point in the song Miley began crying, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Saturday Night Live - Season 41

One of the night’s weirdest — and funniest — sketches saw Aidy Bryant and Vanessa Bayer as two women in a dystopian post-apocalyptic world as they try not to get sucked into becoming part of Taylor Swift’s “Squad.”;

Miley also appeared in a sketch promoting a new Fox series, The Millennials, which goofed on entitled, selfie-obsessed 20-somethings:

The show’s biggest moment came when special guest Hillary Clinton made a hilarious cameo as a bartender named Val, offering some advice to presidential candidate Hillary Clinton (Kate McKinnon), who at one point tells Val, “I wish you could be president.”; Responds the bartender: “Me too.”; Clinton (the real one, not McKinnon) hit it out of the park with a hilarious Donald Trump impression, saying, “You’re all loooosers.”;
