Not only does Piers Morgan enjoy feuding with celebrities, he also has a gift for bringing a celebrity interview to a grinding, cringe-inducing halt.

That was the case on Tuesday’s edition of “Good Morning Britain” when he and co-host Susanna Reid welcomed guest Pamela Anderson, with the B.C.-born beauty promoting her new book Lust for Love: Rekindling Intimacy and Passion in Your Relationship.

The nature of the former “Baywatch” star’s book led to discussion of the sexual revolution of the 1960s, with Anderson remarking that “the sexual revolution just gave us a lot of really bad sex, don’t you think?”

Deadpanned Morgan: “I’ve never had bad sex, Pamela. I wouldn’t know.”

Cue the awkward silence, with Anderson eventually jumping in to quip, “Well, you don’t need the book then. Give it back,” while mortified Reid simply covered her face with her hands.

“Things you never thought you’d hear on a network television program at seven minutes past 8 in the morning,” Reid told viewers, with Anderson interjecting, “Or want to hear,” adding, “Enjoy your Cheerios!”
