Shaquille O’Neal had one very special request for Denzel Washington during Monday’s “NBA on TNT” and the Oscar-winning actor was happy to oblige.

Washington, 63, sparked an online meltdown as he was asked by Shaq, 46, if he could reprise his role of Alonzo in “Training Day” for one evening only.

Shaq asked, “Before you leave can you hit us off with that ‘King Kong’ line?” before the actor burst into character.

Washington went on, “You think you can do this to me, Shaq, you think you can do this to me?” as the retired professional basketball player fell about laughing with his fellow panelists.

Unsurprisingly, the Twittersphere went crazy for Washington, with one social media user pointing out that the actor just being on the show in the first place meant that “all his worlds were colliding.”

Another person added that whenever the “American Gangster” favourite said “My man!” he lost it.
