Taylor Swift has reportedly been granted a restraining order against her alleged stalker.
The “Bad Blood” singer filed for a restraining order against 38-year-old Julius Sandrock on Wednesday in L.A. County, according to TMZ. A temporary restraining order was reportedly granted, which will stay in effect until a court hearing in June. Sandrock must reportedly stay 500 yards away from Swift and any of her property, concerts or public appearances.
Los Angeles police arrested Sandrock on suspicion of felony stalking after he allegedly tried to break into Taylor Swift’s Beverly Hills mansion on Saturday, April 14 while wearing a mask and rubber gloves.
Court paperwork accused Sandrock of having an empty gun holster, live rounds of .380 “Fiocchi” ammunition, latex gloves, black gloves, a knife, multiple masks “similar to the ones painters use,” a black half-face mask, one 9mm ammunition round, an empty box of .22 caliber ammunition, and black rope — all in his vehicle.
A police search also reportedly turned up “psychologist paperwork” and prescription medications including oxycodone and the antidepressant fluoxetine.
“Respondent told arresting officers that he suffers from severe depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and manic episodes,” the petition said, according to NY Daily News.
Sandrock was reportedly on probation for “disorderly conduct and discharging a firearm” in Colorado prior to the alleged felony stalking of Swift.
The LAPD is looking to acquire a firearm restraining order against Sandrock after he reportedly confessed to owning multiple handguns.
