“Just For Laughs” is back for its 36th year, and with more star power than ever!
The long-running comedy festival has announced more talent set to take the stage next month, including Will Forte, Wanda Sykes, Tig Notaro, Chris D’Elia, Moshe Kasher and Gina Yashere.
Forte, the former star of Global’s “Saturday Night Live”, will host a gala at the festival.
Meanwhile, Sykes will host the “Throwback” show as part of the “Just For Laughs” Comedy Pro industry conference.
“Just For Laughs previous announced its first slate of talent, including “Girls Trip” star Tiffany Haddish and “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah.
Haddish, who has previously performed at “JFL” — she even wrote about it in her 2017 memoir, The Last Black Unicorn — will be a first-time host, headlining “The Tiffany Haddish Gala” July 28. But not one to be outdone, Noah will host two galas during the festival — both on the same night!
The pair join previously announced Kevin Hart, who brings his “Kevin Hart Irresponsible” tour to the Bell Centre July 27.
“Just For Laughs” kicks off July 11, 2018, in Montreal.
