The eight-time Juno Award winner re-released his 1998 song “Big League” as “Big League (For Humboldt)” on Wednesday. All proceeds from the single will benefit the Humboldt Strong Community Foundation memorial fund.

Cochrane, 64, altered the lyrics for a heartfelt performance of the song during the TSN Hockey: Playoff preview special on Tuesday, April 10.

“This single is dedicated to the Humboldt Broncos and their families, never to be forgotten,” said the Red Rider frontman.
