It’s safe to say the months of anticipation for the arrival of American Horror Story: Hotel has been as gruelling for the cast. Just a day before its premiere, The Hollywood Reporter has released a brand new interview with Lady Gaga about the making and meaning of the new season.

Although the 29-year-old singer is one of the more racy artists of today, she wants you to know that there is more that goes into her selection process than just looking for a “foursome.”; “I don’t simply do things because they’re provocative,” Gaga told The Hollywood Reporter.
In the two-and-a-half minute video, Gaga goes on to praise the work of Ryan Murphy, the co-creator of the series, calling him “an extreme visionary.” Considering the American Horror Story franchise was a shocking breakthrough in the television horror genre, it’s safe to say Gaga is spot on!

“The story [Ryan Murphy] is telling about how the human being strives to survive within the challenges in the universe, that to me is what makes the sex so good.”;
