Hugh Jackman proved he truly is the world’s greatest showman when he snuck into a screening of his popular musical to join fans in a singalong.
“The Greatest Showman” was released last year to mixed critical reception, but it became a surprise hit with moviegoers due to its instantly catchy soundtrack. The success has led to select theatres hosting special singalong showings of the Jackman-led musical.
Not wanting to miss out on the fun, the 49-year-old actor covertly made his way into a screening via the back of the theatre, but he was soon rumbled by excited fans.
Jackman, who stars in the movie as legendary circus showman P.T. Barnum, spent several years trying to get the film made, is clearly proud of the loyal support the musical has garnered.
Check out some of the reactions from lucky fans who got to witness Barnum’s greatness up close, and those not-so-lucky fans that wished they were there.
