Lance Bass has revealed that he was inappropriately touched as a teenager in “N SYNC.
The pop performer shared this information during a panel discussion on The Meredith Viera Show addressing Ashley Judd’s Variety interview where she discusses being sexually harassed by a powerful Hollywood executive. The subject matter prompted Bass to provide a story of his own experiences with out of line behaviour.
“This also happens to men, too,”; he shared. “It has happened to me. When I was 16, 17 years old, and we started, there was someone that we worked with that was inappropriately touching us.”;
Bass didn’t say who the creep was, but noted that he was aware the man was acting like “a pedophile.”; It was something that he spoke about with his “N Sync bandmates.
“With the guys we would kind of talk about it, joke about, but it’s not a joking thing…”; he said. “I’m glad that we were aware of it and we didn’t feel victimized at the time.”;
There have been numerous allegations that have rolled out over the years alleging that former Backstreet Boys and “N Sync Svengali Lou Pearlman had engaged in sexual harassment and molestation. Pearlman has repeatedly denied claims of inappropriate behaviour.
