Simon Cowell Says Irish Priest Delivered ‘One Of My Favourite Ever’ ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Auditions

Father Ray Kelly has a divine voice.

The Irish priest performed on a recent episode of “Britain’s Got Talent”, singing REM’s “Everybody Hurts”.

The crowd was blown away by Kelly’s performance, but more importantly so was judge Simon Cowell. “I’m going to tell you something,” Cowell said to Kelly after the audition. “This is one of my favourite ever auditions!”

“I think your voice is beautiful. I love the version of the song,” continued Cowell. “This is everything we’ve been waiting for. I absolutely loved it.”

Fellow judge Alesha Dixon chimed in, “Everybody was listening to the words and relating it to their own lives.”

Needless to say, fans can expect to see Father Kelly perform again.
