J. Cole’s “less is more” marketing tactic seems to have succeeded, as a report from Twitter account Chart Data says his new song “KOD”  broke Spotify’s U.S. opening day streaming record with 4.2 million streams.

If indeed true, the North Carolina-native will have broken the record previously held by Taylor Swift’s 2016 song “Look What You Made Me Do”.

“KOD” is the first song — following an intro track — featured on Cole’s fifth studio album of the same name. Another track “ATM” has also seen heavy output with a new music video and a placement on ESPN’s NBA Playoffs commercials.

Spotify has yet to confirm the reports.
