Another day, another awkward hand-holding moment.

In footage broadcast on MSNBC and shared online, FLOTUS appeared to hold her right hand closely to her body as her husband awkwardly attempted to reach for her hand with his left pinky finger, until she eventually offered up her palm.

This wouldn’t be the first awkward hand exchange between FLOTUS and POTUS, after cameras captured Melania back in May seeming to swat away the President’s hand during an official state visit to Israel.

Global’s “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” also poked fun at Melania’s preparations for the Macron state dinner, creating a parody video in which the First Lady appears to be erasing all sign of her husband and leaving a note for the French president to take her away with him to France.

Meanwhile, Melania’s white, wide-brimmed hat also stole the show with some people comparing it to Beyonce’s look in her “Formation” music video.
