‘Smallville’ Star’s Alleged Sex Cult Explored In New NXIVM Documentary

Business founder Keith Raniere, executive Nancy Salzman, and “Smallville” actress Allison Mack’s alleged sex cult is the focus of an upcoming docu-series.

The documentary will explore multi-level marketing organization NXIVM, founded by Raniere, which operated as a self-help and women’s empowerment group.

The business, however, was allegedly a front for a cult accused of sex trafficking, blackmailing, and more. Mack, now 35, was allegedly brought on as second in command to recruit women and force them to engage in sexual activity with Raniere.

Members of NXIVM are also accused of branding their victims and forcing them to complete menial tasks as “slaves.”

The docu-series will cover the group’s history, its current legal status and the allegations against high-level members of the supposed cult.

Mack was arrested by the FBI on April 20 and is set to stand trial for sex trafficking. On Wednesday, she was released on a $5 million bond pending trial and held under house arrest.
