Cardi B has cancelled an array of performances after announcing her pregnancy on “Saturday Night Live” earlier this month.
Cardi, 25, who is expecting her first baby with fiance Offset, took to social media to tell fans that she’d be taking a break after the Broccoli City Festival in Washington, D.C., this weekend.
The rapper explained in the vid, “Shawty keep growin’. I’ve been looking like I’ve been moving, but in reality a b**ch barely can’t breathe.”
The star also took to Twitter and insisted she would still be “working my a** off,” as well as doing quite a bit of nesting.
Cardi confirmed that she would be back to support Bruno Mars on his North American tour dates in September.
Her cancelled tour dates include shows in Texas, Florida, New York, Ireland, and Norway.
Cardi’s announcement comes after she appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” last week and revealed her other half had actually already named their baby.
As DeGeneres asked if the little one would be called “Susan,” the musician replied: “My dude named the baby. I really like the name. I’m going to let him say the name since he named the baby.”
