Molly Ringwald is thankful for the doctor aboard a Southwest Airlines flight Thursday afternoon.
The “Breakfast Club” alum took to Twitter to reveal her father, Robert, needed emergency attention; thanks to the crew, her father survived.
“We all love to publicly vent against airlines,” she tweeted. “But today, I would like to thank Southwest Airlines and the doctor who happened to be onboard.”
Ringwald didn’t go into details on her father’s condition.
Back in 2014, Ringwald — always close with her father — told the Toronto Star about their relationship: “He’d always been blind and that was the only way I ever knew him. He was a musician and I was a real daddy’s girl. We had that musical connection, which was something my brother and sister never shared with him.”
