Previously when Conan O’Brien hit the road, he broadcast his late-night comedy show from San Diego’s Comic Con and Cuba, but now he’s journeying even further afield: Armenia.
In an announcement, the flame-haired funnyman revealed that he and the Conan staff are the European nation to film a special episode.

“I think it’s every boss’s responsibility to take their assistant back to their ancestral land,” said O’Brien in a statement, explaining that his assistant, Sona Movesian, is of Armenian descent. “That’s why I’m going to make sure my next assistant was born in a five-star resort in Tuscany.”;
The episode — slated to air on Nov. 10 — will be the first U.S. talk show to ever be broadcast from Armenia.
