John Travolta made a brief appearance on stage with Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters during the band’s performance at the Welcome to Rockville musical festival in Jacksonville, Florida, on Sunday.

Fan-filmed video (above) shows Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl inviting Travolta onstage, with the band quickly launching into the actor’s “Grease” number “Greased Lightning” in his honour. The actor, reports Billboard, is in Jacksonville filming his upcoming film “Moose”, directed by Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst.

It’s become something of a tradition for Grohl to invite both fans and celebrities on stage during the band’s shows, including a recent appearance by Rick Astley to perform “Never Gonna Give You Up” in Tokyo, effectively Rickrolling the entire audience.

“It’s too much. It’s too much,” said Grohl after Travolta’s brief onstage appearance. “Thank you and good night.”
