Gwyneth Paltrow appeared on “Good Morning America” Tuesday and opened up about her engagement to Brad Falchuk.
“It’s a very happy time, I have to say,” the 45-year-old actress told ABC News correspondent Kayna Whitworth. “I’m super lucky in that I have these incredible relationships in my life. To feel that love and support from our community is really, really special. It just makes me cry every time.”
When asked if her kids, 13-year-old daughter Apple and 12-year-old son Moses, were looking forward to the wedding, Paltrow replied, “Yeah, they are excited, they are.”
The happy couple announced their engagement in a statement to Goop magazine in January, writing, “We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship.”
Paltrow was previously married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, but she’s never officially walked down the aisle.
“Chris and I eloped so I’ve never had a wedding or any of these fun, bride kind of things, so I’m really enjoying myself,” she explained.
One of those “bride things” included a star-studded engagement party at the Los Angeles Theatre in April, which was attended by Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, Julia Roberts, and others.
