Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have some new royal neighbours, it’s been reported.
According to The Sun, Princess Eugenie and her fiance Jack Brooksbank, who are also set to tie the knot later this year, have moved into Ivy Cottage, which is adjacent to Harry and Markle’s home.
Harry, 33, and his wife-to-be, 36, who will marry at Windsor Castle on May 19, live in Nottingham Cottage, which boasts two bedrooms, while Eugenie, 28, and her 31-year-old other half’s new pad has three.
The publication claims this is the first time Eugenie and Brooksbank have lived together in the seven years that they’ve been dating.
The pair announced their engagement in January, which was two months after Harry and Markle confirmed they were set to wed.
A source explained, “Harry and Eugenie are great mates. She was one of the first people who met Meghan. The two couples have been on loads of dinner dates together, and Jack and Eug hung out with Meghan while she was still living in Toronto.”
“Eugenie is so pleased. It’s the first time she and Jack have lived together. They wanted to move in earlier but there were arguments over who paid for renovations.”
Eugenie and Brooksbank will get married in October at St. George’s Chapel, which is the same place Harry and Markle are set to tie the knot later this month.
Eugenie previously said of the moment Brooksbank proposed: “The lake was so beautiful, it was a special light. I even said ‘this is an incredible moment’ – and then he popped the question, which was really surprising even though we had been together seven years.”
The royal added on “The One Show”: “It was the perfect moment because we knew it was going to end up this way. I was over the moon, crying.”
