Christina Aguilera sparked an online frenzy Tuesday as she posted another teaser for her upcoming comeback album.
The 37-year-old, who hasn’t released new music since her 2012 album Lotus, took to Twitter to share another short clip, with her saying in the vid, “I feel in life when you get to a place where you feel so comfortable, and so routine, then, you know, you have to stop and start from scratch.”
She then lit a match, before playing a tiny bit of what could well be her new single.
Aguilera’s latest teaser comes after she shared another clip, which, according to fans, hinted that her new album could be called Liberation and may feature a duet with Demi Lovato.
Social media users also speculated that the clip, which is thought to contain multiple clues, implied that the lead single could be released on May 3.
The first song from Aguilera’s sixth LP is rumoured to be called “Accelerate”.
Page Six recently reported that the track was produced by Kanye West and will be “very tribal-like, with heavy drum samples.”
The source added that the album is set to be released in early summer, with a tour expected to be announced at the same time.
The insider continued: “Christina has changed her look, her management has got her great new artists and consultants to work with, she’s in a great place.”
