Amy Schumer Honoured In This Year’s ‘Elle’ Women In Hollywood Issue

Elle“s Women in Hollywood’s annual issue has officially landed, featuring some of the most important ladies in the business, including Amy Schumer, Carey Mulligan, Dakota Johnson, Kate Winslet, Gena Rowlands, Salma Hayek, Selma director Ava DuVernay and one of this year’s fastest rising stars, Alicia Vikander.

It comes as no surprise that 34-year-old comedian Amy Schumer has made the list. Not only does she now have her first Emmy, she’s also an accomplished screenwriter.

Elle characterizes the Inside Amy Schumer actress as: “Everywoman. Superwoman. And without a doubt the best thing to come shooting across the cultural landscape in 2015. All hail Hollywood’s newly minted, always-hilarious truth-teller-in-chief — one of our eight Women in Hollywood honorees, @amyschumer.”;

Elle also made sure to honour 85-year-old Rowlands for her lifetime of achievements, including four Emmys and starring in more than 100 films… 100!
