Billy Bob Thornton returns to his Golden Globe-winning role as Billy McBride in season 2 of his Amazon prime legal drama “Goliath”.
In the first look at the upcoming season, McBride has moved on to a brand new case involving his friend’s 16-year-old son who has just been arrested for a double homicide. As McBride’s team begin their investigation, they discover this isn’t exactly an open-and-shut case, uncovering a dark conspiracy in the seedy underbelly of Los Angeles.
“We’re talking about a drug cartel here, and they don’t f*** around,” Thornton says in the trailer.
Joining “Goliath” for season 2 is Mark Duplass, as real estate developer Tom Wyatt who wants to give L.A. a distinct skyline and Morris Chestnut as Chief Deputy District Attorney Hakeem Rashad, a man with an old grudge against McBride.
“Goliath” is set to return to Amazon Prime Video on June 15.
