Supermodel Paulina Porizkova revealed on Wednesday that she and her husband of 28 years — Cars frontman Ric Ocasek, 74 — split a year ago.

“Our family has always been — and still is — a well-built car,” the Swedish supermodel, 53, described her marriage. “When the four of us are together, we can go wherever the road takes us. But as a bicycle, my husband and I no longer pedal in unison,” she wrote. “So we’re ditching the bicycle.
“The love we have for one another is so wide and deep it’s practically tangible, and that sort of love can never disappear,” she continued. “Expect to keep seeing happy family photos.”
Porizkova, 53, revealed they “peacefully separated” last year.

They tied the knot in St. Barts in 1989 and are the parents of two sons: Jonathan, 25, and Oliver, 19.
