Beerbongs & Bentleys topped the Billboard 200 chart and broke streaming records in the week ending May 3. Malone’s second studio album earned 461,000 equivalent album units with 288,000 streaming equivalent album sales and 153,000 in traditional album sales.
The album’s lead single “Rockstar” featuring 21 Savage was a big hit, spending eight weeks at the #1 spot on the Billboard 100 chart. His second single “Psycho” with Ty Dolla $ign peaked at #2.
Malone’s chart-topping success surpasses the record J. Cole set last week with the release of KOD and his streams outplayed Drake’s More Life by more than 46 million streams.
Rounding out the top 5 on this week’s 200 charts are, in order: Keith Urban’s Graffiti U, Cole’s KOD, Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy, and The Greatest Showman soundtrack.
