Rita Ora can’t possibly have had an affair with Jay-Z. Just look at her hair.
The British singer has been the subject of speculation that she might be the woman referenced by Beyonce in the song “Sorry” about the rapper’s infidelity.
Speaking to The Sunday Times, Ora shot down the rumours, pointing to the lyrics of the song from “Lemonade” about a “Becky with the good hair” as proof.
“Hey, all I want to say to that is, ‘Dude, if I were Becky with the good hair, wouldn’t I actually have to have good hair?'” Ora said. “Look at it. It’s all weave and extensions.”
Plus, the 27-year-old said she has way too much respect for Beyonce for the cheating rumours to be true.
“Nobody can ever say anything wrong about that woman in front of me,” she said. “I get emotional just talking about it.”
Back in 2016, Ora addressed the rumours, calling them “rude,” saying, “First and foremost, Jay-Z is my inspiration and one of my idols – lyrically, musically, business-wise. I still look up to him and his wife every day. Beyonce was one of my biggest idols growing up.”
