“It’s a big night for me because I just let the world know that my album is coming June 15 and it’s called Queen, and I can’t wait,” Minaj told reporters on the 2018 Met Gala red carpet.

But that is not the only big news regarding the “Anaconda” rapper coming out of Monday night’s event in New York. “Motorsport” collaborators Minaj and Cardi B seemingly mended their relationship after running into each other at the Met Gala.

In a recent interview, Minaj claimed Cardi had “begged” to be featured in her collaboration with Migos.

“I really fully supported her and up until this recent interview that she did, I had never seen her show me genuine love in an interview,” Minaj said. “And I can just imagine how many girls wish they could’ve been on a song with Nicki Minaj. I’m not saying it in a cocky way.”

Minaj, 35, and Cardi, 25, shone in this year’s Met Gala theme of “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.”
