Ryan Murphy says he wants to make a show about the powerful #MeToo movement that has swept the world and many people are not happy about it.
In a feature, Murphy, 52, explained to The New Yorker how his idea for a show based on the #MeToo movement would be the new “American Crime Story”, a hit series of Murphy.
Murphy added, it would follow a “Black Mirror” style, which means every episode would follow a different story, a different account of sexual harassment.
Episodes would touch on Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey, including “one about an ambiguous he-said-she-said encounter.”
Murphy is pitching the series — “Consent” — to Netflix.
