Prince Charles said he was feeling “obviously marvellous” when asked about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming royal wedding.
Charles, 69, was questioned about the ceremony, which is set to take place on May 19 at Windsor Castle, during a visit to Nice, France on Wednesday.
He told reporters: “I’m sure it’ll be a very special day for everybody.”
Charles’ wife, Camilla, then said when asked about welcoming Markle into the family: “It’s very nice, it’s all very exciting.”
Talk then turned to Kate Middleton and Prince William’s newborn baby Prince Louis, with Camilla, 70, explaining: “[There’s a] few more to go, too, few more babies to go. Zara’s got a baby coming.”
The Duchess of Cornwall was referring to Zara Tindall, who is expected to give birth this summer, despite not announcing the due date.
Charles’ comments come after more details surrounding Harry and Markle’s special day were recently revealed by Kensington Palace.
The Palace confirmed that Thomas Markle would be walking his daughter down the aisle.

They also added that the in-laws will meet for the first time the week of the wedding.
