Best known for playing biker Happy Lowman on “Sons of Anarchy”, actor David Labrava is mourning the death of his 16-year-old son, revealing the tragic details in a heartbreaking Instagram post.
“Never in a million tears would I think I would be posting this,” he wrote in the caption, accompanying several photos of himself and his son over the years.
“This is my boy Tycho,” continued the 55-year-old actor. “He took his life a couple of days ago at 16 years old. He suffered from a depression we couldn’t see because he was a happy young kid.”
He added: “Communicate with your loved ones, there might not be any signs. Cherish them🙏 I am broken 😭”
Labrava’s post also includes a link to a GoFundMe page set up to raise money for an organization helping those who suffer from depression and bipolar disorder.
“On May 5th, 2018 Tycho Spelis Chiusano decided to end his life. He was 16 years old. He quietly suffered from depression for years and didn’t know how to ask for help,” reads the page.
“An amazing and beautiful soul, Tycho was extremely intelligent, athletic, loyal, and a sensitive friend,” the GoFundMe page continues. “He was full of life, constantly smiling, and had a knack for making others laugh. Tycho loved his family and friends. This is how we will forever remember him! Never FORGET: Always be kind and have compassion for others. Never spread rumors and learn to communicate with each other.”
The note concludes: “Tycho’s last wish was ‘give all of my money to a depression and bipolar organization’ …so, that’s exactly where it’s going!”
