Eurovision 2018 contestant SuRie proved her singing is only rivalled by her composure.
The U.K. singer was deep into a performance of her song “Storm” when a stage crasher made his way onto the set and ripped the microphone out of SuRie’s hands.
The man was quickly snatched by security, but SuRie did not allow the chaos to distract her. The performer clapped along to the music as she waited for the situation to clear up.
It seems the unexpected obstacle only fueled her passion. As soon as SuRie got the microphone back, she ramped up the energy tenfold and closed out her set with a stunning performance.
The BBC updated fans on SuRie’s condition, insisting she was fine. “Just to confirm SuRie is ok. More news when we get it,” the network’s Eurovision Twitter account wrote.
The singer herself also reacted on Twitter by making light of the situation.
