Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl And 12-Year-Old Daughter Perform Adele Cover At Benefit Concert

While performing at a benefit concert in Oakland, California, Dave Grohl welcomed a very special guest to the stage: his 12-year-old daughter Violet.

The daughter of the Foo Fighters frontman proved to be a chip off the ol’ block by handling vocals on a cover of Adele’s “When We Were Young” as her dad accompanied her on acoustic guitar. The performance was part of the Notes & Words benefit concert, which raised money for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, reports Rolling Stone.

Violet wasn’t the only member of the Grohl family to join the performance; following Violet’s duet with her dad, her younger sister Harper, 8, played drums while Violet provided backing vocals as their father sang Foo Fighters’ “The Sky Is a Neighborhood”.

According to RS, Harper remained behind the drum kit for a high-energy cover of Queen’s “We Will Rock You”, while other songs in the performance included Foo Fighters hits “Everlong”, “My Hero”, “Times Like These”, “Learn to Fly” and “Best of You”.
