Prince William put on a hard hat and got to work on Tuesday.
Just days ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding, the Duke of Cambridge took the time to give back to the victims of the tragic June 2017 Grenfell Tower fire in London. William joined a crew working to build a new community center to help replace a boxing club that was destroyed in the fire, which took 71 lives.
The event was filmed for “The BBC One” show, hosted by Nick Knowles, and will be broadcast later this year. For the charity work, William wore a blue sweater and slacks under a green reflective vest and protective headgear.
He was photographed painting a wall at the center as well as talking with the construction crew.
Just last month, the 35-year-old royal welcomed his third child, Prince Louis, with his wife, Kate Middleton. The little cutie has already made his public debut outside of the hospital, and the first official photos, which were taken by Kate, were released by Kensington Palace earlier this month.
One precious shot features Louis’ older sister, Princess Charlotte, cradling him and planting a sweet kiss on his forehead. The photos were taken on Charlotte’s third birthday.
