It’s Mental Health Awareness Week and Lady Gaga, among other stars, are teaming up with Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry ahead of his wedding to Meghan Markle this Saturday.
The royals’ charity, Heads Together, focuses on mental health awareness and is using every radio station in the UK to urge their listeners to take a #MentalHealthMinute.
“Wherever you are, whatever you’re feeling,” Gaga wrote to Twitter. “@BTWFoundation and I want you to know it’s okay to say.”
In a short information video accompanying the “Born This Way” singer’s tweet, voices of both the Princes, Gaga, David Harewood, Judi Dench and Jessica Ennis Hill, can be heard.
“Right now, for the first time, radio stations all over the UK are coming together to broadcast the same thing, at the same time,” Harewood begins before Dench can be heard saying, “Because no matter who you are, or what station you listen to: News or new wave. Politics or punk. Gershwin or… Lady Gaga… All of us have moments when life is tough.”
Many other stars are joining the movement, such as “Game of Thrones” actress Sophie Turner and indie band Frightened Rabbit, whose lead singer, Scott Hutchinson, recently succumbed to his long battle with depression.
Harry, 33, and Markle, 36, will tie the knot on May 19 at Windsor Castle in England.
