Royal Wedding Military, Marching Band And Choir Rehearsals Underway In Windsor

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding is only two days away and rehearsals are underway on Thursday in Windsor, England.

ET Canada is on the ground covering preparations ahead of the couple’s big day on Saturday, May 19.

From the St George’s Chapel Choir belting out “Lean On Me” to the military procession marching band practising walking along the ceremonial route for the nuptials on the streets outside Windsor Castle, there is a lot of buzz as royal watchers descend on the hotspot.

Inside Windsor Castle, the royal family is rehearsing the wedding ceremony. Harry and Meghan were spotted leaving Kensington Palace ahead of the rehearsals.

Things are up in the air when it comes to who will now walk Markle down the aisle on her wedding day since it was confirmed her father Thomas Markle has taken ill.

The bride released the following statement on Thursday through Kensington Palace: “Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding. I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health.”

She continued: “I would like to thank everyone who has offered generous messages of support. Please know how much Harry and I look forward to sharing our special day with you on Saturday.”
