Mac Miller is in jail.

And he remains there as of this writing with a bail set at $15,000. The “Dang!” rapper was arrested on charges of DUI and hit-and-run after he allegedly hit a utility pole with his 2016 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon in Los Angeles in the early hours of Thursday then fled the scene with friends.

LAPD officer Rosario Herrera told US Weekly police visited Miller’s home after running the licence plate on the SUV. The 26-year-old rapper allegedly admitted to drinking and driving and was promptly arrested.

Just one week ago, superstar singer Ariana Grande revealed she and Miller had amicably split two years into their relationship.

“I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us!” she captioned a photo of the ex-couple cuddling. “Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it’s not you.”

Miller last released an album in 2016 with The Divine Feminine, which peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart.
