The average woman would be beyond flattered to learn that Brad Pitt was interested in going on a date with her, but imagine the reaction if the “Fight Club” star was willing to spend $120,000 to do it.
That’s something that Emilia Clarke doesn’t have to imagine, since Pitt bid that amount at a charity fundraiser for Sean Penn’s J/P Haitian Relief Organization in hopes of spending some time with the “Game of Thrones” star.
Taping an appearance on Britain’s “The Graham Norton Show” on Thursday, Clarke, 31, admitted that seeing Pitt bid for her was “the best night of my life,” reports the Daily Mail.
“There was an auction for a charity do that I was asked to take part in so I offered time with myself,” she explained, “and as the bidding started I realized Brad Pitt was trying to buy me.”
Unfortunately, the “Solo: A Star Wars Story” star’s big night with Pitt was not to be, thanks to a mystery bidder who upped the ante to $160,000.
“I looked across the room and [Pitt] had his paddle up!” Clarke said. “Sadly, he was outbid and it didn’t work out.”
