Becca Kufrin has finally found love.
The star of the upcoming “Bachelorette” season was famously dumped less than five months ago by “Bachelor” fiance Arie Luyendyk Jr. in a shocking finale special.
Thankfully, it’s all worked out for the 28-year-old. “I am engaged!” she revealed to People.
“It was the happiest moment of my life. And it feels so good to say it,” she added. “I still pinch myself, like, did that all just happen? It’s been a whirlwind.”
“I went through the grieving process,” Kufrin said of her emotions after her breakup with Luyendyk. “I was confused and angry and all the emotions you go through a heartbreak with.”
After the breakup, Kufrin was offered the chance to star as the next “Bachelorette”.
“Yes, I fell in love and we were engaged,” she said of Luyendyk. “But that ended. And I realized nothing since then changed. I still wanted to find my partner, and I wasn’t going to let anything stop me.”
The new season of “The Bachelorette” will have a happy ending, and Kufrin says her ring is “very beautiful.”
“I’m so excited to start this season and for everyone to see everything that happened,” she said. “It’s been crazy, but it was so worth it.”
